Our formal technical methodologies are SAT + ADDIE. The ADDIE development model, which includes five key phases—Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This represents a dynamic, flexible guideline for building effective training and performance support tools. By integrating the SAT model and ADDIE development model with rapid prototyping, Engaging Training is able to provide visibility in the development of the final product throughout the design and development cycle and to assure the alignment of business objectives, development requirements, and expectations in modular phases to support interdisciplinary project development.

AmeriCorps is a unit of the Corporation for National & Community Service (CNCS); AmeriCorps itself is a network of national service programs involving nearly 75,000 volunteers/individuals and touching the lives of millions of American citizens. The volunteers/individuals can commit time from 3 months to one year—this results in a continuous cycle of new recruits from around the nation that require onboarding and managing. Managers, staff and volunteers require annual training and refreshers.

Redevelop eighteen courses using Articulate Storyline for the SCORM compliant target platform, Litmos. Courses range in length from One to Two hours. Each course incorporates knowledge checks.
Conversion and improvement of the delivery of the AmeriCorps NCCC training topics used in on-boarding and ongoing training. Sample topics include: Van Driver Training, Service Learning, Healthy Life Styles, and FEMA Corps Lodging.
These improvements fall into two areas of work: a) Updating the material to align with most recent regulations and concepts, and b) Converting the material to e-learning format. There was existing material owned by AmeriCorps to be updated, re-formatted, and new training modalities applied as appropriate. Each module’s Deliverables reside on the Litmos LMS and are SCORM-compliant. To complete the contract on schedule, we demonstrated the ability to engage more than one topic at a time, applying and managing multiple Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs) and Course Developers. |
