Our Instructional Designers bring a professional and purposeful approach to igniting learning experiences for all adult learners, whether in the classroom or online. Our formal technical methodologies are SAT + ADDIE. The ADDIE development model, which includes five key phases—Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This represents a dynamic, flexible guideline for building effective training and performance support tools. By integrating the SAT model and ADDIE development model with rapid prototyping, Engaging Training is able to provide visibility in the development of the final product throughout the design and development cycle and to assure the alignment of business objectives, development requirements, and expectations in modular phases to support interdisciplinary project development.
CDC – Testing Together
In support of the national HIV prevention training program, the DHAP Capacity Building Branch (CBB) houses nationally-available eLearning courses in an online learning management system (LMS), CDC TRAIN.
CLIENT : | CDC Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention (DHAP) |
---|---|
PROJECT : | Redevelop five courses using Lectora® for the SCORM compliant target platform, CDC TRAIN. Courses range in length from One to Eight hours.
As CBB transitioned all eLearning modules to the CDC TRAIN LMS from the previous web hosting mechanism, the following issues were identified: (a) some courses contain links to externally-hosted video content which expired in January 2020 and (b) some courses are malfunctioning on the new LMS SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model) server. Because CDC does not have, and has been unable to obtain, editable source files for these courses, they must be redeveloped. |
